About Me:
Tatiana Giraud is the Founder & CEO of the UK Charitable Trust the TG Foundation, a charity that helps victims of rape and sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (charity no: 1134942).
Tatiana was born in France to a French Father and Congolese Mother. She was educated in both France and the UK and has visited the DRC several times. Following a short career in modelling, she graduated at the University of London with a BA in Politics & Society.
After researching the war in DRC , Tatiana was shocked at the scale of rape & sexual violence she discovered was occurring in her country. This motivated her to host her first screening of the renowned documentary “The Greatest Silence: Rape in Congo”. The TG Foundation has since gone on to hold numerous charity events to raise awareness for the plight of rape and sexual violence victims in the DRC.
Tatiana is a keen runner and in her efforts to fundraise, she has participated in the Royal Parks half Marathon and the Stockholm Marathon . Her vision is for the TG Foundation to participate in one sporting event a year in order to raise much needed funds and awareness for victims of rape in Congo.
Tatiana currently resides in London where she works in the finance sector and volunteers her spare time as CEO of the TG Foundation.
