About Me:
Louie Marti is a bit like a favorite cocktail—one part entertainer, one part badass, one part protector, and one part lover—shake and serve in a fancy glass, and voila, you have a rock solid person you can always count on.
He slipped into acting by mistake in 2014 when a producer requested his assistance with the TV-series “Eternally Faithful” about the soccer supporter culture in Sweden. Louie was called in as an authenticity consultant, but also as a buffer to the fairly violent bunch of supporters—hooligans—infamous in Northern Europe for their fights before, after and during major matches and derbies.
The producer asked him if he’d consider a role in the series, but he laughed it off—Louie Marti was a lot of things, but no actor. Six months later Louie stood in front of the camera. “He said I was a natural, and I actually believed him. It didn’t feel like acting—I was just myself.”
Passionate, street-smart and Marlon Brando-faced Louie Marti comes from a long line of Spaniards with Gypsy roots, hailing from Barcelona. His grandmother, an orphan named Rubia for her blond hair by those who took her in, robbed a bank and spent six years in prison. His father, once a legendary flamenco guitar player, became a preacher once he moved to Sweden looking for opportunity and a good place to raise a family.
Louie was born in Stockholm in 1978 and grew up in the multicultural back pocket of Sweden nicknamed the “burbs” (but to any other nationality it translates more as ghetto.) He spent his youth staying out of trouble, taking refuge in sports. He is experienced in Tai Do, Tae-Kwondo and Thaiboxing. He is also skilled in classical boxing.
As a teenager Louie struggled with being the son of a priest, but today he has that tattooed on his right arm and also named his Harley Davidson “Son of a Preacher Man”.
Being Louie Marti means solving problems at the flip of a coin, gage and adjust to every situation. He’s eloquent, dresses like a dandy, but is just as comfortable putting on overalls when fixing a carburetor on his Harley. He’s a doer and a winner and a hustler who aces everything he sets out to do.
Right now Louie’s preoccupied with starring in “Kluven Dröm” and ”Legend of Dark Rider.” He is also developing the TV-series ”Patched” about Swedish MC gang culture, produced by his own production company.
