About Me:
Director of award winning films "The Art of Roadkill", "Smooth Operator", "CONDUIT" and has been named "Best Director of 2012" by "Women In The Arts Miami" . Alyn Darnay’s new book, “The Script…A Breakthrough Guide to Scriptwriting” (www.ScriptWritingBook.com) has sold over 8,600 copies nationwide and is currently being translated into Spanish. He has also written and sold two original film scripts, has been published in Newspapers and National Magazines, two of his short films have won awards at the Ft. Lauderdale Film Festival.
Alyn is a frequent guest lecturer at Film Festivals, Colleges and Universities, he holds script writing seminars for professionals several times a year, and periodically teaches filmmaking courses for the Florida Film Institute. Additionally, he writes a popular monthly column for ‘The Northern Star’ newspapers and film reviews for Aced Magazine and Your Entertainment Ticket.
In the last few years alone Alyn’s work has been recognized as the best of the best countless times by his peers and his clients. He has earned twenty-three outstanding awards of excellence. Two Vision Awards for Web Design in 2000, a National Medical Society Award for writing in 2001, a viewers best of the Web award for his film “The Miami Chronicles” in 2002, and in the past three years, four Telly Awards, two Axiem Awards, two Aurora Awards, and a Videography Award for writing and directing.
